Payments Policy

This Payments Policy outlines the accepted payment methods, deposit requirements, and payment schedule for all services provided by UniKos – Transfers & Excursions (“UniKos,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).

By confirming a booking with UniKos, you agree to adhere to the terms set out in this policy.

1. Accepted Payment Methods

UniKos accepts the following methods of payment:

  • Credit/Debit Cards: We accept Visa, MasterCard, and American Express. All card payments are processed securely through a third-party payment gateway.
  • Bank Transfer: Payments can be made via bank transfer (wire transfer) to our designated corporate bank account. Clients are responsible for any bank fees or currency conversion charges applied by their bank.
  • Cash (Limited Circumstances): Cash payments may be accepted for certain services, primarily the outstanding balance on Private Transfers. This must be confirmed with us in advance.

2. Payment Currency

All prices and payments are processed in Euros (€) unless otherwise agreed upon in writing. Any quotes provided in a different currency are for estimation purposes only and are subject to the currency exchange rate at the time of payment processing.

3. Payment Schedule and Requirements

The payment requirements depend on the type of service booked:

A. Private Transfers (Standard Airport/Port/Hotel)

These customized services require a deposit to confirm the booking, with the balance due closer to the service date.

4. Payment Security

We prioritize the security of your payment data:

  • Third-Party Processing: We do not store sensitive payment card details on our servers. All credit/debit card transactions are securely handled by a PCI-compliant, encrypted third-party payment gateway.
  • Bank Transfers: Funds transferred directly to our bank account are protected by standard banking security protocols.

5. Failure to Pay

UniKos reserves the right to cancel any booking if the required deposit or final balance is not received by the specified due date.

  • If a booking is cancelled due to non-payment, any payments already made (including the initial deposit) will be retained and forfeiture will be subject to the terms in our Refunds Policy.

6. Surcharges and Adjustments

Any agreed-upon adjustments to the service cost (e.g., extensions, additional stops, last-minute requests, or pre-approved waiting time charges) may result in an additional payment, which must be settled before or immediately after the service completion, as directed by UniKos.
